- Any product with “warning”, “danger”, “caution”, “poison” on label
- Septic field/drain cleaners, oven cleaners
- Paints and stains of all types
- Yard, garden, pool, and spa chemicals
- Cleaners, disinfectants, solvents, glues
- Automotive fluids (gasoline, antifreeze, brake fluids, motor oil, etc.) and kerosene
- Art and hobby chemicals
- Fluorescent lamps, CFL bulbs and ballasts, thermostats
- Propane bottles and tanks
- Fire extinguishers and batteries (all types)
- Hair dye
- Cellphones
- Unwanted/expired prescriptions, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and pet medicine
