Through the Arizona Broadband Development Grant from the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), combined with a significant private investment from Cox, Douglas residents will benefit from stronger connections, exceptional reliability, and speeds up to 2 GB to support school, work, healthcare, and entertainment at home.To make the transition easier, Cox is offering a $100 gift card for both existing and new customers who sign up or complete their fiber upgrade now through Dec. 31, 2026. This incentive is in addition to free professional installation, which will be provided to every customer. “This is a transformative investment in Douglas,” said Stephanie Healy, Cox Southern Arizona market vice president. “By bringing fiber internet across the community, we're delivering faster speeds, greater reliability, and future-ready connectivity. It's about empowering residents and businesses to thrive in a digital world. Fiber conversion installation appointments will take place in phases throughout the next year. All households will receive direct mail containing details about the upgrade, promotional offers, and next steps. In addition, existing Cox customers will receive targeted notifications via their online accounts and email to ensure timely awareness and access to benefits.
