1st MidAmerica Credit Union Opens Scholarship Application

1st MidAmerica Credit Union will award five $1,000 scholarships to area high school seniors in May. Applications are available online here. Applications are due Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Over 130 area youth have benefitted from the 1st MidAmerica Credit Union scholarships, which were introduced in 2005. Scholarships may be applied to tuition, fees or other educational expenses.

Eligibility Requirements
1. Applicant must be a member of 1st MidAmerica, a primary accountholder and the account must be in good standing.
2. Applicant must be a 2026 high school graduating senior.
3. 1st MidAmerica employees, directors and their families are not eligible. 

It is the responsibility of the application to see that all information received by 1st MidAmerica by the deadline. All materials submitted become property of 1st MidAmerica. Scholarship recipient must provide proof of enrollment before beginning of the Fall Semester, at which time the Credit Union will pay the scholarship amount to the applicant. 1st MidAmerica reserves the right to withhold award of scholarship if no qualified applications are received.
