Chamber Auction and Business Expo will take place this Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the Prescott Resort and Conference Center, 4:00 - 7:00 pm. The auction and expo are free and open to the public. Come bid on goods and services from Chamber members--pick up some early bargains for your Christmas shopping! You can bid on more than 85 gift certificates from restaurants to clothing and jewelry! Other items up for bid include a getaway trip to Cape Ann, Massachusetts, two round-trip tickets on Great Lakes Airlines, golf packages at Verde Santa Fe golf club and Antelope Hills! Other auction items include four tickets to Disneyland, a whole-house surge protector including installation, stays at the Riverside Resort and Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin. New items are added daily! See you at the Prescott Resort Tuesday evening!

Courthouse Christmas Lights The 57th annual lighting ceremonies take place Saturday, Dec. 3 at 6:00, following the annual Christmas parade at 1:00 pm. Contributions to help fund the lighting project are still being accepted at the Prescott Chamber of Commerce. Checks payable to the Prescott Chamber Foundation can be mailed to the Chamber, 117 W. Goodwin St., Prescott, AZ 86303. Our goal this year is to light 100 trees in honor of the state's centenniial.

City Election Information Registered voters in Prescott will receive their general election mail-in ballot soon. One City Council seat willl be on the ballot and only one candidate--Alan Carlow--submitted petitions to appear on the ballot. There are also eight ballot proposiitions on the ballot. All are "updates" to sections of the City Charter. The Chamber has reviewed the propositions and has endorsed the passage of all eight.

Centennial Special: Paver Project Your name and your business can be part of history at the entrance to City Hall. Engraved pavers are now available to be placed by the statue at City Hall. Each paver is $100, and any paver purchased by Feb., 2012 will also include an opportunity to write a personal note in the Centennial Time Capsule that will be placed in City Hall for the next fifty years.
