Description
Following eight years in the White House, Ulysses and Julia Grant needed a break. What began as a trip to London to visit their daughter, Nellie, ultimately turned into an unprecedented 2-1/2 year tour around the world. As a war hero and former president, Grant was greeted as a celebrity and unofficial ambassador. Park Guide Jared Clark follows the Grant’s adventure as they traveled around the world.
