American Legion Passport Ride/Drive Ottawa Post #60
Description
American Legion Ottawa Post #60 is having a Passport Ride/Drive June 6th, 2026. This is a fun event open to everybody. Participants will receive a passport when they register (taking place at McDonald's in Ottawa) and also receive suggested driving/riding route that will keep them on paved roads. There are 2 routes that they may choose: one is just over 100 miles and the other is about 250 to commemorate the USA 250th birthday. There will be a raffle for each ride/drive . This is open to cars, trucks, motorcycles and the shorter route will be mostly in Franklin County with passport stops in various businesses. 
Proceeds will benefit the Ottawa American Legion post who then uses the funds to support local scholarships, baseball, etc. 
Registration is at 9:30 AM and drawing for short ride will be around 3:00 pm and the longer ride around 5:30 pm

Details:
There is a $20 per vehicle registration fee. Registration begins at 9:30 am with riders/drivers departing on their own starting at 10:00 am. 
Registration and passport ride/drive will start at the Ottawa McDonald's and conclude at Take It Outside shop/store on Main Street in Ottawa. 
If rain is forecast the event will be canceled. Riders/drivers will receive a passport and then drive to passport locations (businesses) to get their passport stamped. Completed passports (all businesses have stamped) will then go into raffle hopper and winners drawn at Take It Outside, 3:00 pm for short ride and approx. 5:30 pm for longer ride.
