17th Annual Chamber Auction Needs Your Help! - It's no secret that 2010 has been a tough year for most all of us....especially for non-profits such as the Chamber. We have re-tooled our annual auction event to make it an evening of more fun and great crowd interaction than ever before. The Chamber has secured the service of Jeff Maynard, one of the Valley's premier charity benefit auctioneers, and this year's year's event promises to be something completely different! Details:
The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (I-17 and Peoria) and begin with a killer hors d' oeurves buffet complete with carving station, cash bar, followed by a "Gift Card Frenzy", "Jackpot Event" where some lucky attendee may win up to $2500 to spend during the live auction! There will be plenty of great items available, with a special celebrity memorabilia section, in all price ranges for the Silent Auction and 20-30 very select items in the Live Auction! The event will run from 6-9pm. We have been able to reduce the price to $40 per person, or save even more by purchasing a table of 8 for $300.
This event is the major fund raiser for the Glendale Chamber and gives you another opportunity to promote your business. Each Chamber member that donates an item(s) for the event receives special recognition from the podium during the event and in the printed Auction Catalog. We need your participation more than ever this year...please donate and/or attend to help keep the Chamber healthy! Attached please find an explanation letter concerning the event and a donation/registration form.
