GDPR Demystified: Busting the Top 5 Myths
Data protection can feel overwhelming for small and growing business owners. You have heard the warnings about GDPR fines and compliance obligations, but do you really understand what is required and what is myth?
This practical session will cut through the confusion with straight answers about what the regulations actually require.
For each myth, I will provide honest, straightforward guidance on what the requirements are without jargon or unnecessary complexity. I will explore the real benefits of good data governance, so you leave with clarity on where your business stands and actionable next steps you can take immediately.
Whether you are just starting your compliance journey or want to move beyond surface-level policies, this session is designed to give you confidence and clarity. Bring your questions—we will tackle them together.

About:
Jacqueline helps small business owners navigate data protection with confidence, drawing on hands-on experience with GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and related regulations. Her work centres on translating complex compliance requirements into practical, manageable steps so that your business can protect customer data with clarity and confidence.

Throughout her career, Jacqueline has designed and delivered straightforward data privacy policies, staff training programmes, and incident response plans tailored to organisations of all sizes. Rather than imposing one-size-fits-all solutions, she listens to your challenges and adapts her approach to your business context.
Whether you are just starting your compliance journey or refining existing practices, Jacqueline combines technical expertise with genuine interest in helping small businesses get things right.
