On April 30th 2010 Oroville High School will have its 3rd annual Diversity Day gala. Our mission is to broaden our student’s world view. We are inviting cultural groups, clubs, business and community members to participate.

Details:
In the past our 90 minute activities have included Indian dancers, stompers, salsa dancers, belly dancers, traditional Hmong dancers, break dancers, and ballroom dancers. Instruments included Hmong instrumentals, guitars, and fiddles. Displays by local artist, youth groups, military and businesses provided informative booths, flyers, samples and coupons. It would be wonderful if the students also got exposure to the diversity in our business community.

Presented in the round, our activities allow students to move around campus tasting, hearing and seeing the many things our world has to offer.
