Chamber Lunch at Estrella Mountain Community College in the Community Room on Thursday, February 18 at 11:30 a.m. Janene Van Leeuwen is the public information officer and the community outreach coordinator for the Liberty School District. She will talk about some of the positive things happening in education in our area. She will focus on the centennial garden and the VH1 grant that the district received for purchasing musical instruments for 2 schools and they are working on adding a third. She will also share information on the Community Resource Fair being held this Saturday in Estrella Mountain Ranch at the Elementary School there. There are opportunities for the community to get involved with this project, booths, etc. Janene also works helping the homeless students in the area as well as with the food bank.
