Gallery 925 | Bay Area Artist Rita Sklar January 19 – April 23 Award-winning artist Rita Sklar lives and paints in Oakland, California. She is a member of the California Watercolor Association, East Bay Women Artists and San Francisco Women Artists. “In my recent work, I am exploring the dimensionality- emotional, perceptive and symbolic- of vanishing species and traditions. My paintings reflect a balance between the reality of representational shapes and forms juxtaposed with abstract backgrounds.”
