Jonathan "JD" Davis, CPA, didn't start as an accountant — he started in construction, doing CAD drawings, writing estimates, and managing projects while finishing his accounting degree at night. He went on to leadership Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis roles at Southwest Airlines, Neiman Marcus, Pilgrim's Pride, and Petco before bringing that forward-looking financial strategy home to Western Colorado. You get a CFO who's actually been in the field.
