Bikes For Kids, Inc. (BFK) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting outdoor physical activity by providing free new bicycles and helmets to children in need. The organization focuses on 2nd graders at poverty or ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) levels, encouraging them to step away from screens and experience the joy of riding. Since 2019, BFK has donated thousands of bikes to low-income children across Marshall, St. Joseph, and Starke counties in Northern Indiana.

The organization hosts annual bike giveaway events, with planned events in April and May 2026 at various high schools, serving multiple community schools. Community members can support BFK by sponsoring a new kid's bike and helmet through their online store or by volunteering at these crucial events, assisting with transportation, organization, and food preparation. All donations are tax-deductible.
