Special Needs Network (SNN) is a nonprofit grassroots organization dedicated to addressing the crisis of autism and other developmental disabilities within underserved communities. Recognizing the intersectionality of disability rights with racial justice and civil rights, SNN is committed to ensuring neurodivergent individuals in Los Angeles are included in the region's growth and investment. The organization advances a regional strategy to expand workforce pathways, increase clinical access, and shape public policy for a more inclusive Los Angeles.
SNN's services are built around five key pillars: Autism Health & Wellness, providing therapy and holistic support; Advocacy & Social Justice, equipping communities for systemic change; Workforce Development, creating career pathways in various fields; Education & Training, empowering neurodiverse youth; and Community Engagement & Support, strengthening families through outreach and resources. SNN also operates programs like SNNABA, offering one-to-one therapy, and is establishing a landmark Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities.
