The restaurant specializes in 100% vegan versions of classic Mexican dishes, proving that animals are not needed for traditional 'meat' foods while maintaining exact flavors.

Their menu offers heart-healthy and environmentally sustainable options, including signature dishes like burritos, nachos, tortas, tacos, flautas, and chilaquiles. Healthy Substance also provides delicious vegan catering for various occasions and was the first vegan restaurant at Lollapalooza Chicago in 2022.
