Camp Loughridge

Nestled in southwest Tulsa, Camp Loughridge has been a place of fun, friendship, and tradition for generations. More than 80 years ago, it began as Tulsa’s first YWCA camp, called Camp Parthenia, offering summer adventures for local kids. In 1959, the First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa took over and renamed it Camp Loughridge in honor of Reverend Robert M. Loughridge, a pioneering missionary to the Creek Indian Nation. Today, Camp Loughridge is an Oklahoma not-for-profit, operating on 188 beautiful acres with a dedicated, year-round staff.

Camp Loughridge serves the Tulsa community in three main ways: summer camps for kids, leadership and team-building ropes course programs, and year-round facility rentals for groups and organizations. Each summer, nearly 1,200 children enjoy our Christ-centered day camps, exploring the outdoors through activities like canoeing, hiking, swimming, and nature adventures. Scholarships help ensure that children from all backgrounds, especially those who might not otherwise have the chance, can join in the fun and experience the joy of camp for the very first time.
