The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the St. Louis community for over 108 years, since 1918. Its core mission is to empower African Americans and other individuals throughout the region, helping them achieve economic self-reliance, social equality, and civil rights. The organization envisions a community where all people are valued, can adequately support their families, live in vibrant neighborhoods, and share in the region's prosperity.

Key programs include early childhood education through Head Start, comprehensive employment services with job skills training and career fairs, and HUD-Certified Housing Counseling. Additionally, the Urban League provides essential support through the Weatherization Assistance Program, Save Our Sons for job placement, and the Low Income Home Energy Program to help with utility bills.
