Gunnison Trails is a 501c3 non-profit trail advocacy organization established to assist land managers and other stakeholders in maintaining existing trails, educating users on responsible trail-based recreation and pursuing new trail opportunities throughout Gunnison County. 

Since 2006, Gunnison Trails has partnered with federal land managers, local municipalities and community stakeholders on thousands of hours of trail maintenance and stewardship work across the Gunnison basin. Beyond stewardship, Gunnison Trails is passionate about education and community engagement. We provide resources and guidance to trail users, advocate for the development of new trail opportunities, and foster a culture that values environmental sustainability and outdoor adventure for residents and visitors alike.
