The Community Foundation of the Gunnison Valley (CFGV) is dedicated to improving the quality of life in the Gunnison Valley by connecting generous donors with local nonprofits. Nestled high in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, CFGV inspires and connects people to foster a thriving community. The organization strengthens and enriches the community through engaged philanthropy, thoughtful grantmaking, strategic education, and collaborative leadership. Established in 2007 through the merger of the Crested Butte Community Foundation and the Gunnison Area Community Foundation, CFGV serves the entire Gunnison Valley.
