Van Alstyne Sports Authority (VASA) is a dedicated volunteer-led nonprofit organization committed to providing structured, fun, and inclusive youth sports opportunities for children and families in and around Van Alstyne. We organize and manage recreational and competitive leagues across a range of sports - from baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and softball to flag and tackle football, cheerleading, and more - helping kids ages roughly 3–14 develop athletic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship under the guidance of caring coaches and volunteers.

Although VASA operates independently of the city and the local school district, we work closely with both entities. The city and school district generously provide and maintain many of the fields and facilities where our teams practice and compete.
