Patio Tacos LLC was created to honor the legacy of Abuela Socorro Mares, whose warm hospitality and unforgettable homemade Mexican dishes touched everyone she met. After her passing in 2021, her daughter Minerva Pedroza, alongside her husband Juan, chose to carry forward Abuela’s tradition by opening a food truck dedicated to serving fresh, authentic Mexican food made with love every day. What began as Abuela’s passion for feeding the community at the Wise County Fair now lives on through Patio Tacos, where every plate reflects the same comfort, heart, and family-centered spirit that inspired generations.
