The Fern AK was founded on the principles of wellness and community. Raised in the Sierra Nevadas, our founders traveled the globe before settling in the Matanuska Valley in 2016. Their deep love for the mountains and forests quickly made Alaska home, and inspiration from wellness-focused cafés around the world revealed an opportunity to bring those same fresh, nourishing concepts to the valley.
