Matanuska-Susitna College, a community campus of the University of Alaska Anchorage, has been serving the educational needs of the Mat-Su Valley since 1958. Originally established as Palmer Community College, the institution became Mat-Su College in 1963 to reflect the boundaries of the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. Today, the college enrolls over 1,700 students per semester, offering a diverse range of programs to meet the needs of the community.

The main campus sits on a 950-acre site between Palmer and Wasilla, featuring a modern 102,676-square-foot facility that houses most educational activities. Fully accredited through the University of Alaska Anchorage by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, Mat-Su College provides a high-quality learning environment designed to support student success and lifelong learning.
