Realign U
Home
Realign U primarily exists to help folks who are in their 40's, 50's and beyond, to develop a fitness lifestyle that is both rich and rewarding for them. First and foremost, Realign U is a Christ-centered business, but non-discriminatory at the same time.
Potential clients start out with a complimentary fitness assessment. From the results of the assessment if it's determined that they would be a good match for the Realign U protocol, it's their decision from there as to whether or not they move forward with Realign U. There is no pressure, just a good discussion of the pros and cons, the costs and benefits. If the potential client does decide to move forward, I start by meeting them where they're at.
Disproportionately, new clients start slowly and progress gradually, although there are some exceptions to this depending upon the fitness level and goals of the client. Initially, new clients can expect to be working on a nice blend of stretching exercises and myofascial release techniques that are right for them, to help prepare the body for the progressions that are down the road. Stability ball stretches are typically introduced in the initial stages, to activate core musculature as the muscles are being lengthened. The key for every new Realign U client is to do their homework, and to get in the number of repetitions on their own that are needed to create lasting change.
The speed at which new clients progress will depend upon factors such as their age/fitness level, capacity to learn and retain the new exercises, motivation level, time constraints, etc. Clients who are motivated to work hard in the initial phases, are typically the same folks who get the best results down the road.
Some clients will continue on for longer periods of time, but some will reach their goals within a few weeks. Longer term clients typically end up with many more exercises than shorter term clients , and that's where categorization becomes more important.
When one of a new clients exercises goes to the "maintenance phase", then this becomes an exercise that is checked periodically to make sure the benefits are sticking. If it's found that an exercise in the "maintenance phase" needs to be revisited, then this exercise is blended back in with whatever the client is currently working on, until it reaches a point where the benefits are sticking again. The The typical Realign U longer term client has several "core workouts" that are most appropriate for them, with room for fine tuning, adaptations, and progressions.
The primary goal for every Realign U client, regardless of how much time is spent at Realign U, is to continue on and persever with the  fitness lifestyla that is now theirs.
