The U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) operates and defends the computer networks of the United States Army, planning, engineering, installing, integrating, protecting, and operating Army Cyberspace to enable Mission Command across joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and multinational operations. As the Army's primary information technology service provider for all network communications, NETCOM is responsible for establishing a Unified Network based on Zero Trust Principles.

The command leads global operations for the Army's portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN), ensuring freedom of action in cyberspace while denying it to adversaries. NETCOM also spearheads the U.S. Department of Defense's Zero Trust initiatives by implementing secure, user-friendly collaborative platforms like Army 365, supporting the Army's Digital Transformation Strategy. The NETCOM team comprises approximately 16,000 Soldiers, Department of the Army Civilians, and Contractors, deployed in over 22 countries worldwide.
